Mr. Jun Ogasawara is a seasoned trade finance professional with over 27 years of experience in New York, Tokyo, and London at top international banks including Societe Generale, BNP Paribas Fortis and Citibank. 

 

Mr. Ogasawara has origination and execution experience in various trade finance programs including receivable finance, payable finance, pre-export finance, inventory finance, forfaiting, documentary letters of credit, project finance and ECA & MLA finance. 

 

Until May/2019, Mr. Ogasawara was the head of the Commodity Trade Finance team at Societe Generale New York for 10 years serving the trade finance needs of over 100 commodity traders.

 

Mr. Ogasawara originated and executed over 4,000 transactions worth over $50 billion (arranged or participated) both in developed and developing countries.

Mr. Ogasawara holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from Chuo University in Tokyo.  Mr. Ogasawara holds an MBA degree from Rotterdam School of Management Erasmus University.

 

Mr. Ogasawara possesses Series 7 and 63 licenses and is bi-lingual and bi-cultural in English and Japanese.
